Kind Words

  • The confidence I’m experiencing today directly correlates to the work in our sessions and the affirming reinforcement that seemed to naturally happen as the weeks went by. ... So the fact that I feel confident today is priceless.

  • I really looked forward to your visits each time. You were a great companion, teacher, and counselor! ... I experienced less anxiety on taking care of the baby after each visit.

    ~ Sunny N.

  • [Patricia] is kind, attentive, nonjudgmental, and open to working within the framework of her clients' own parenting philosophies and desires.

Hi, I’m Patricia

I became a postpartum doula after surviving and not thriving through my first 18 months of parenthood 😬 and I really thought we were going to be fine!

Now I know that it’s not good luck or a “good” baby that allows families to thrive but instead, it’s access to reassuring support and practical resources that gently build confidence and allow families to feel calm and capable as they learn to parent their baby.

In this work, I help families prepare for postpartum, walk with them through the fourth trimester, and help them shift to more sleep when the time is right.

  • After a series of interviews in the summer of 2022, I developed Prepping for Parenthood so that pregnant families could do the practical work to set themselves up for a more calm, confident postpartum.

  • I supported my first client in Japan in 2017 and shifted my doula care online in 2019 when we welcomed our second baby. Ensuring families feel heard, validated, and reassured is just as important to me as providing excellent, safe, nurturing newborn care.

  • If what you're doing for sleep is feeling less and less sustainable, let's gently shift your approach and help everyone finally get more rest. From 10 weeks to 3 years of age.
