While everyone is asking about the baby,

let’s look after you.

Getting ready to meet your baby is exciting. And a little nerve-wracking. And maybe a bit overwhelming.

It’s a little bit like this, right? ☺️🥴🫠

Do any of these sound familiar?

✔ There is SO MUCH information out there and everyone you know is sharing their best baby advice, sometimes without really thinking it all the way through, and that can be ...hard.

✔ You definitely didn’t need to hear why someone’s birth was traumatizing, or how much someone else’s baby struggled with feeding, or sleep, or car rides, or colic.

✔ You just want to meet this baby already and see what it’s going to be like, even if you’re not a hundred percent sure you know enough to look after a newborn right now. You’ll figure it out.

✔ If only someone could check in with you every couple of days to make sure you were doing okay, someone to answer your questions about the baby and help you feel more confident.

✨Imagine what it would feel like if you knew just what to do to look after yourself and your baby.✨

What if I told you that you could...

✔ avoid all the frantic, flustered, confused struggling to figure out what is going on with this baby.

  • Just check in with a qualified expert you trust to get some solid feedback, a fresh perspective, and a boost of encouragement to get through the long days and tiring nights.

✔ stay out of FB groups and off of forums full of people promising the best baby tips, tricks, and hacks.

  • Instead, chat with a real person who knows you and your baby and who is giving you evidence based information about whatever hard thing has come up this week.

✔ take the time to learn to read your baby’s feeding and sleep time cues so that you respond in a way that meets their changing needs and developing ability to sleep so that you can all get more rest.

  • Plus, with the added benefit of having someone cheering you on and reminding you that you’re awesome because you totally know what you’re doing ❤️

WHAT PEOPLE

ARE SAYING

“I loved that I was reassured I was on the right track and made to feel that I was a great mom.”

— Andrea K.

“Your gentle affirmation and listening to your experience as a mom helped me calm my nerves and refocus my energy and time on the things that really were more important.”

— Lauren K.

Before doula care:

  • you often feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice and opinions

  • you’re not sure you’re really ready, or even how to get ready!

  • you’re worried that no one’s being honest about the postpartum period - it’s all either horror stories (😳) or sublime love and joy (🤨) but where is the middle ground?

  • you don’t have the energy to sort it all out even though you know it’ll mean you’re basically winging it

After doula care:

  • you feel confident making decisions because you’ve clarified what’s important to you

  • you’re able to relax and prioritize rest, knowing you’ve done enough and that looking at yourself is good for everyone

  • because you connect with your doula often, you avoid the isolation and loneliness you’ve heard other new parents warn you about

  • plus you don’t feel frazzled trying to figure out feeding or soothing your baby, or wonder if you should call your doctor or Google some symptom - you just check in with your doula.

Here’s what you get:

12 weeks of virtual doula care visits - plus resources, support, and community!

1. Prenatal doula care

To prepare for your postpartum experience and your upcoming birth, we’ll have 2 Zoom calls to talk through the baby supplies and gear you’ve collected, your set up, your expectations, and anything that’s especially worrying you about the weeks ahead so that you can get some reassurance and support.

Plus, you’ll get complimentary access to Prepping for Parenthood and my Postpartum Planner so that you can get your gear, your house, and your self totally organized for the postpartum period!

2. Postpartum doula care

Starting the week you meet your baby, we’ll have a weekly video chat to meet face-to-face, talk through how things are going, and work through anything that’s a challenge that week.

Show me how the baby is growing or let’s figure out how to set the car seat in its stroller or work that breast pump. We can talk about feeding, or soothing, or sharing care with your partner - and we’ll continue these weekly visits for your baby’s first 8 weeks!

You’ll also get a 1-year membership to the Bump to Baby Steps community for even more support and connection with fellow parents working through the first year of parenthood.

4. Anytime text support

From our first prenatal visit through your entire fourth trimester, reach out anytime you need help, information, or support. I am here for you.

My clients and I use the app Voxer to allow for distraction-free texting and voice messaging, for updates and check-ins, and to share baby pictures and screenshots of all the things you’re tracking.

I’m also available within the Bump to Baby Steps community and love to receive emails.

In short, I’m never far away. ❤️

3. Two sleep-focused visits

In the 3rd or 4th month, we’ll talk about what you can do to help everyone get even more sleep, no cookie-cutter sleep plans, no cry-it-out, I promise.

Instead, we’ll put together a plan to gently help your baby shift to more predictable naps, longer overnight stretches, and more independent sleep, if that fits your parenting philosophy.

And for a full week, I’ll help you put the plan into action so that everyone will finally start getting some more sleep.

How virtual doula care helped these parents:

Pregnant woman smiling at her belly - virtual doula care will help you get ready to meet your baby
  1. Prenatal Prep

Katie was starting to feel anxious about her upcoming birth so it was important we make some time to walk through the birth process and logistics and to explore additional resources for her and her family.

Afterward, she was grateful to have a better perspective and the best part was that she felt seen and empowered in the final weeks of her pregnancy.

2. Postpartum Care

Lauren reached out in the middle of her second pregnancy because she was worried the postpartum anxiety she battled after her first pregnancy would return and she definitely did not want the same postpartum experience again.

Lauren loved feeling that through our virtual doula visits, she was looking after herself. It helped her make time to reflect on her day-to-day postpartum experience and hold on to a healthy perspective about how things were different from or similar to her previous experience.

3. Sleep Support

When Sarah’s 9-week old suddenly stopped sleeping, even on her, she needed some fresh ideas.

She was delighted by the support, validation, and gentle guidance she received and she was extremely relieved to have a plan in hand.

Sarah’s favorite thing about working together was the simple approach and the results: she is now 100% confident about her baby’s sleep!
